As the Autumn season comes around, the SYM technical team’s focus turns towards refits, planned maintenance periods, vessel upgrades, paint jobs, and of course, periodic surveys to ensure that the fleet is maintained in accordance with the strict rules set out by Flag and Classification societies.
Following Volpini 2's launch in 2018, and her extensive cruising throughout N. Europe, Scandinavia and the Mediterranean seas, the time has come for this 970GT vessel to be hauled for the first time, to carry out her Lloyds Itermediate Survey.
In addition to the statutory requirements, as set out by the Classification Society, this haul-out period also gives the crew a fantastic opportunity to take care of other maintenance works not possible when afloat.
As always, great thanks goes to the amazing and dedicated crew aboard Volpini 2, who take such incredible care of this amazing, 188’ Dutch built masterpiece.
We all look forward to seeing this Amels Superyacht cruising extensively in 2021 and beyond.
